By Tak Tsun (Edmund) Lo — psychologist and researcher (NL/HK). Get in touch.
Tak Tsun (Edmund) LO is a postdoc in Developmental Psychopathology (Radboud University, the Netherlands) and a registered clinical psychologist (Hong Kong). His current postdoc project studies how within-session emotion dynamics in psychotherapy ripple to how emotions change in clients’ daily life.
In the Society for Ambulatory Assessment Conference 2026 (3–5 August 2026, University of Vienna), he presents a poster on a manuscript in preparation about how adolescents respond to momentary loneliness by adjusting their social contacts. Methodologically, it features two-level DSEM accounting for cyclic time trends and the use of Simpson’s dissimilarity (also known as the replacement subcomponent of Bray-Curtis dissimilarity) to detect switching in peer partners in everyday life. The poster is in Day 1, Poster Session 1, poster number 64.
